This museum is proudly branded as “one of the largest aviation museums in the Southeast, is dedicated to presenting civilian, military, and experimental aircraft and memorabilia from the earliest history of powered flight,” and is a joy to explore. If you’re either just arriving or soon to leave Birmingham, this makes a great last-minute stop because it’s right next to the Birmingham International Airport.
